MSc DipION Nutritional Therapist
Deborah has been specialising in nutritional support for mental health and neurological disorders since 2002. Deborah completed her initial training at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London (DipION) and completed an MSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Westminster in 2014. She lectures regularly to a variety of audiences including medical and other health professionals, corporates, students and the general public. Deborah is co-author of The Alzheimer’s Prevention Plan, Optimum Nutrition for Your Child and Optimum Nutrition for your Child’s Mind. She is a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and is registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).
DipION Nutritional Therapist
After she completed her nutritional training at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London in 1995 she began to focus her work on supporting people with mental health problems using a nutritional approach. Lorraine has worked in this area ever since, and the wealth of experience she has led to her being invited to widely lecture on this topic. Lorraine has also written a book entitled Brain Food (Hamlyn), is a Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, a member of BANT and is registered with the CNHC.
Dr Amanda Redvers
MBBS, BSc(hons) MRCPsych
Amanda is a consultant psychiatrist whom was trained in London and also works in the NHS. She takes a holistic approach to health and disease using a variety of therapies including psychological, pharmacological and mind-body.
Olga Preston our clinic manager and is a qualified Nutritional Therapist through the acclaimed Institute of Optimum Nutrition. She also has over 20 years experience in the health care industry, with excellent managerial skills and a proven track record of successful appointments. She is a great communicator and able to empathise with clients from all different backgrounds, she has won several awards for excellence in customer service. Olga is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a “can do” attitude and a passion for nutrition. She developed an interest in mental health after personally seeing the effect that good nutrition had on family and friends affected by mental health conditions.
Alexandra Mendoza Garau
Alexandra is a lawyer by background. She has extensive experience in customer service, having worked in a diversity of supporting roles throughout her career. She is highly motivated with a “can do” attitude. Alexandra has basic knowledge of German and French and is fluent in Spanish and English. In her spare time, Alexandra is an active member of the community who runs a local children’s group and volunteers visiting severely disable patients at hospital, and enjoys bringing a little joy to their lives. Alexandra developed an interest in nutrition after seeing the benefits that nutrition can have on a variety of health problems. She is truly enjoying expanding her knowledge of the effects of “optimum nutrition”on health and specially on mental health.
